This policy explains what eldenringinteractivemap.com (the "site") does and does not do with your data. The short version: there are no accounts, your map progress stays on your device, and the only third parties involved are our hosting provider, Google Analytics and, where ads are shown, advertising partners.
What we store on your device
Your map progress (which markers you have marked as found), your filter selections and the "hide found" setting are saved in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you export it yourself. You can erase it at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser.
Accounts
There are no accounts, logins or passwords. We do not ask for your name or email address. If you email us, we use your address only to reply.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and processes your IP address to produce these aggregate reports. We do not send it your map progress or anything that identifies you by name. You can opt out on any site with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and Google's privacy policy explains how it handles this data.
We may also use cookie-free analytics from our host (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count page views.
Advertising and cookies
The site may display ads served by Google AdSense. When ads are shown:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google in Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of personalised ads from other participating vendors at aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before advertising cookies are set. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the map keeps working without them. We keep ads away from the map itself so the tool stays usable.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA give you rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal data and hold almost none ourselves, but you can contact us with any request and we will respond. Requests about data held by advertising partners are best made through the opt-out links above.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will be updated.
